A little baby is brought to Prem Nivas

The baby is thought to be about seven or eight months old. He was found on the road near a village beginning with A. The child was brought to our children's home at Prem Nivas by a sort of 'child helpline' . Brighter Future is known,  and indeed registered, with the  Andhra Pradesh Child Welfare Department..

The local Telugu newspaper, Eenadu, published an article about neglected and abandoned babies saying that healthy children were legally adopted. Other babies were given to trusts in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram to be looked after..

Prem Nivas in Gajapathinagaram was particularly mentioned (highlighted in yellow).

Kanchama is the children's nursery nurse at Prem Nivas. She seems quite happy with Jeevan.  The dummy is new to me - I have not seen a child with one before in Gajapathinagaram!. Jeevan is the fourth young child we have been given to care for at Prem Nivas.
